Commercial & storefront glass · Toronto & the GTA
Toronto Glass Repair provides commercial and storefront glass repair across Toronto and the GTA, 24/7. Smashed storefront, office or condo glass? We board up and secure the same night, then replace the glass on your schedule, with priority for any unit left open to the street.
A broken storefront is a security and revenue problem, not just a repair. We handle the emergency end of commercial glass: display windows, glass entrances, office partitions and condo glazing.
The first job is making your unit safe and lockable tonight. The new glass follows on a schedule that fits your business.
Single panes and large-format shopfront glass, broken or shattered.
Commercial entry doors, sliding and swing glass, broken panes and hardware.
Interior partition walls, office fronts and meeting-room glass.
Heat-treated safety glass for storefronts, doors and railings, required by code in these spots because it breaks into small, blunt pieces instead of sharp shards.
Single-pane and sealed double-pane units for offices and retail.
Common-area glazing, lobby fronts, restaurant and shopfront glass.
We answer 24/7 and aim to be on site the same day across Toronto and the GTA. A storefront open to the street is a priority call, so it goes to the front of the queue, day or night.
Yes. If we cannot fit new glass on the spot, we board up and secure the opening the same night so you can lock up, then come back to install the glass.
We board the opening with clean-cut plywood, clear the broken glass, and make it weatherproof so you can open in the morning. After a break-in we work around the police and your insurer, so photograph the damage before we clear up.
Yes. Most storefront and entrance glass is tempered safety glass, and we replace it with the correct grade and thickness.
Tempered glass is cut and heat-treated to order, so it cannot be made on site. Most storefront panes are 6 mm (quarter inch) tempered glass or thicker.
We secure the opening the same night, order the unit, and fit it once it is ready, typically within a few days. For doors and railings we match the code-required safety rating.
Commercial glass is priced on the unit, not a flat rate. You get a firm quote before any work starts, and we can invoice the business and provide documentation for your insurer.
What drives the price:
Describe the pane and the frontage on the phone and you will have a working range before anyone is dispatched; the firm number is confirmed on site before anything is ordered. Large tempered and storefront panes sit at the higher end; a standard office pane is lower.

Shop owners, property managers, restaurants and condo boards get one point of contact, clear invoicing, and the documentation an insurer needs. We coordinate after-hours access, keep the site clean, and report back when the job is done.
If you manage several properties, one call covers all of them, and we keep a record of what was fitted where so a repeat job is faster to quote.
Yes. The board-up happens whenever you call, and the glass install can be booked before opening, after close or overnight so the shop does not lose trading hours. Tell us your hours and we will work around them.
We replace the glass itself, and any film, frosting or vinyl branding is applied to the new pane afterwards. Decorative film cannot be salvaged from broken glass, so mention what was on the old pane when you call and it goes into the quote.
Most storefront and entrance glass is tempered safety glass. Some entrances and overhead glazing use laminated glass. We identify the type on site and replace it with the correct grade and thickness.
Usually just the glass unit. We keep your existing frame and hardware where they are sound, which is faster and cheaper. If the frame is damaged we will tell you on site.
Yes. We invoice the business and provide the photos and documentation your insurer needs for a glass or break-in claim.
Securing happens the same night. The glass itself is a second step: tempered and sealed storefront units are cut and heat-treated to order, so they cannot be pulled off a shelf. Once we measure and order, it typically comes back within a few days, and we book the install for when it arrives. You are not left waiting with an open storefront in the meantime, the board-up covers that gap.
Call and we will secure it tonight, then replace the glass on your schedule. 24/7 across Toronto and the GTA.
